Family/Children Yoga

A class designed especially for ages 5-12.  Beginning with guided meditation and warm-ups , children are encouraged through animal/nature yoga postures. When taught as a series of classes there is a new movement or body oriented theme presented each week moving towards a greater understanding of personal anatomy and body awareness. This class promotes proper breathing, stretching, balancing, and relaxing to integrate into life.  Prenatal Yoga is also available.

 

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

 De-Stressing has been seen as one of the most important life changes to make towards true healing and wellness.   Emphasizing easy techniques including meditation to still and clear the mind, breathing exercises to deepen the breath and expand the lungs, progressive relaxation to deepen relaxation and become aware of tension held in intricate systems of the body, and guided imagery to engage the imagination for deeper understanding and create new visions of health and wellness, this class is for everyone of every age.  You will gain knowledge and insight, de-stress and relax, and head towards a deeper understanding of wholeness, wellness, and healing.
